MRI Installation

The project was to construct a pre-fabricated building to house a new MRI for the VAMC in Waco, TX for research purposes.  The building had to meet Radiation and Magnetic shielding requirements specific to the MRI unit to be installed by others.  It was built offsite and delivered to the site and installed as scheduled.  Just prior to the delivery date, it was discovered that the existing Electrical onsite was insufficient for the new unit and accessory equipment.  A rapid response upgrade to increase the electrical was conducted by Mark VII to ensure sufficient power was available prior to the arrival of the MRI unit itself.
