KELLOM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Life Safety Upgrades and Renovations

The project consisted primarily of installing a sprinkler system into the elementary school, upgrading the low voltage infrastructure for each classroom, installation of a canopy over the main entrance, installation of an emergency generator, new boiler, and reconditioning for a second boiler, and upgrades to the HVAC system. Additional works included removing and replacing ACT drop ceilings, demo of masonry walls, demo and reconstruction of IT Room Walls, and ADA improvements throughout. Majority of work was completed over a summer holiday and students were able to return without interruption. Works continued into the school year without interruption to normal school activities.
