Fire Pro, Life Safety & Security Upgrades

The project consisted of retrofitting the existing Middle School with Fire Protection (100%) Sprinkler system and new integrated Fire Alarm systems, Security Access control of all exterior doors, Severe Weather shelter improvements and remove and replace of all interior doors and hardware for intruder prevention. New 6” fire service entrance and tap off main was required to achieve fire suppression requirements. The bulk of works were performed during the summer break with balance performed during non-school operation hours. Work scopes were primarily divisions 7, 8, 9, 21, 26 & 28.
