Physical Upgrades

The project consisted of renovating an existing classroom in Historical Allwine Hall Campus Facility from a traditional classroom configuration of built-in desks to an open flex use multimedia lab environment. Due to design delays, the project was awarded late in the summer and thus care had to be taken to prevent any interruption to classes starting with the fall semester. The work included but wasn’t limited to: Plumbing, Electrical, Demo, Flooring, Cabinetry, ACT, and Painting. Additionally, we coordinated the removal remediation of existing asbestos as part of the project. All work was completed with the building remaining in full operation with just the classroom closed for the project. Noise control measures were taken throughout the project.
