Physical Upgrades

The project consisted of upgrading the City of Omaha’s Hanscom Park Tennis Center and Recreation Facility to meet ADA criteria. All work had to be completed without interfering with the ongoing activities of the facility. The work included but not limited to: Plumbing, Electrical, Masonry, Flooring, Steel Fabrication and Erection, Mold Remediation, Concrete, Parking, and Landscaping. As the project was overseen by the DOJ as part of the ADA settlement between the City of Omaha and the DOJ, all work was completed with oversite and observation from multiple governmental agencies and departments. All work was completed without any closure to the facility, with all work on the restrooms occurring during scheduled times that were coordinated with the facility personnel and staff.
