Sleeping Quarter Improvements

Project Objective was to adapt the male staff configured fire station facility over to duel gender sleeping and living quarters along with ADA compliance improvements, Fire Sprinkler / Fire Alarm retrofit and complete mechanical system swap-out. The project works incorporated the 16 Division construction codes (except 11-14) plus interruptions were scheduled and coordinated in accordance with the firehouses preference timeslots. Phase-I involved creating a “swing-space” which initially served as the firefighters temporary sleeping quarters and in Phase-III converted the temporary sleeping space into the permanent exercise and fitness space.
